Abstract
A project of the students in the course "Buddhist Paths in Asia and North America", this wonderfully insightful collection of interviews combines research into San Francisco's urban problems with perspectives from Buddhist Studies.

-------- As a San Franciscan native, Claire has a uniquely local idea about the city and its problems. Since Buddhism uses the number "3" frequently, she has identified the "3 Jewels" in San Francisco's City Hall. It's a fascinating perspective on the city and its many social issues.
