Abstract
Problem Independent Living Facility A experienced low resident engagement in its educational workshops. Aim This quality improvement project aims to increase resident engagement by 10%, raising it from 4.4% to 4.8%, during a five-week period from October 16, 2024 to November 13, 2024. Methods Through a comprehensive approach that included a 5Ps assessment, Resident Needs Survey, SWOT analysis, Cause and Effect Analysis, and PDSA cycle, MSN students implemented an educational technology and health promotion program. Results At the end of the program, resident engagement increased from 4.3% (7 residents) to 8.1% (13 residents) while enhancing residents’ confidence in technology use. Conclusion To sustain these improvements, the program must maintain consistent engagement, align workshop content with residents’ evolving interests, and continue fostering trust within the community.
