Volume 21, Number 2 (2019)
From the Editor
It is an honor to introduce to the reader this new issue of the Journal of Hispanic/Latino Theology, Volume 21, Number 2.
Six substantive essays, three articles and three book reviews, form this issue. Néstor Medina (Emmanuel College of the University of Toronto), Jennifer Owens-Jofré (Seminary of the Southwest, Austin), and Neomi de Anda (University of Dayton) are the articles’ authors. All three are well known in Latinoax theology for their depth and insightfulness, and readers will note the new paths and windows they open through their respective texts.
Víctor Carmona (University of San Diego) reviews for us Latinxs, the Bible, and Migration (2018), edited by Efraín Agosto and Jacqueline M. Hidalgo. Stacy Guinto Salinas (Princeton Theological Seminary) discusses Ruben Rosario's Dogmatics After Babel: Beyond the Theologies of Word and Culture (2018). And Ramón Luzárraga (Benedictine University, Mesa) reviews Blood and Ink: Ignacio Ellacuría, Jon Sobrino, and the Jesuit Martyrs of the University of Central America (2014) by Robert Lassalle-Klein.
I thank the authors, reviewers, and referees, and the editors (M.T. Dávila, R. Berrú Davis, and J.C. Redmont), for their contributions to this new issue of our journal.
