Author Bio
Joseph Ruben Adams is a second year doctoral student in the School of Education International and Multicultural Education program. Before coming to USF, he received his Masters of Arts in Ethnic Studies, as well as his Bachelors of Arts in Africana Studies and English Literature from San Francisco State University. Joseph is passionate about uplifting the Black community, particularly supporting Black students with graduating from high school and transitioning them into college or career. His commitment toward social justice has allowed him to collaborate with teachers, students, and community organizations to tackle the needs of the Black community.
