Author Bio
Heather Streets is a marketer by trade and a current doctoral candidate at the University of San Francisco. She is actively looking for opportunities to turn her personal passion for education into a profession. Her doctoral dissertation focuses on how Black students who attend historically White universities use online and offline spaces for support, knowledge production, and activism. After graduating with her Ed.D., she plans to develop her ongoing interest in race and institutional racism through conducting post- doctoral research. She is committed to finding ways to both deepen and expand conversations about anti-Blackness in higher education and uncovering the ways in which Black college students respond
