Liliana Deck is a doctoral candidate in International and Multicultural Education at the University of San Francisco. She has worked in both local and global nonprofit organizations in the areas of education, social services, and healthcare in the United States, Colombia, and Cambodia. Her research focuses on issues related to migration, family, and education in fragile contexts. Her transnational experience and professional career have involved work in corporate, nonprofit, and academic settings serving vulnerable populations.
