About This Journal
In understanding the daily lived experiences of queer individuals and groups in different cultures, the intersection of theology and queer theory becomes an important factor in order to analyze sexuality, gender, the sexual division of labor, and the social mandates to women and men. Conexión Queer: Revista Latinoamericana y Caribeña de Teologías Queer highlights that intersection while relating it to other areas of analysis such as race and ethnicity, culture, nationalism, immigration, and the role that faith-based communities play in the formation of identities, theological discourses and pastoral as well as political practices.
