Abstract
My fieldwork experience was completed at the University of San Francisco Health Promotion Services office (HPS). The Health Promotion Services office is responsible for directing programs & services that foster the health & well-being of students and the campus community. Health Promotion Services’ staff strive to inform, educate, provide, assess, and train USF students in ten health indicators which include physical activity, nutrition, tobacco use, substance abuse, responsible sexual behavior, mental health, injury and violence prevention, environmental quality, immunization, and access to health care. These ten health indicators reflect the major health concerns in the United States for college students (Health Promotion Services, n.d.).
