Abstract
Wisdom is a complex and multifaceted phenomenon. This report explores the correlation between age and wisdom as it relates to leadership within the nonprofit sector. The study presented in this report examines wisdom and provides critical analysis of the correlation between age and wisdom through expert interviews. It analyzes the significance and impacts of age as it relates to leadership and identifies some best practices and recommendations for nonprofit staff to become better, wiser leaders. Some options for improvement in the sector include inclusive leadership development, ethical decision-making considerations, mentorships, sponsorships, and succession planning.
