Abstract
ARNOLD J. MANDELL, M.D. is Chairman of the Department of Psychiatry at the University of California at San Diego School of Medicine. His innumerable publications include such items as "A Psychiatric Personality Typology Replaced by One from the NFL - The Acceptability Rather than the Perfectability of Man" in The Saturday Rev iew/ World (1974); and "Redundant Macromolecular Mechanisms in Central Synaptic Regulation" in New Concepts in Neurotransmitter Regulation (1973) . He has served or is serving on numerous state and national committees, and is on the editorial boards of seven professional journals.
