Lina Lenberg has been an educator for over 20 years. She is involved in the national movement for human rights education as a Northern California regional representative and steering committee member for Human Rights Educators USA. In addition to working as a classroom teacher, Lina is a doctoral candidate at the University of San Francisco, where she is writing her dissertation on the genocide being waged against Uyghurs in China’s Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region (East Turkestan) and the Uyghur diaspora’s resistance to Chinese state violence
