Author Bio
Anna Reed (Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma) has her bachelor’s degree in Anthropology and Spanish from Dartmouth College, and is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Latin American Studies at the University of Oxford. In her undergraduate work, she studied Bilingual and Intercultural Education in Cusco, Peru, researching the education system in peri-urban schools, as well as privately funded institutions. Her work is centered on uplifting the Indigenous perspective, as she feels it is of the utmost importance to highlight Indigeneity in academia. As she continues this course of study, Anna remains focused on Cusco and the Quechua peoples of the region. annareed1397@gmail.com
