Research Abstract

Antibody discovery platforms have opened a new frontier in therapeutic development. Distributed Bio has built antibody libraries that produce computationally optimized antibodies pre-engineered with therapeutically desirable traits such as humanness, high CDRH3 diversity, thermostability, and other molecular scaffolding proven to pass clinical trial requirements. One of their most popular libraries is the Super Human 2.0 library. This library analyzes billions of antibodies to find the most suited antibody to bind to a specific antigen target. / As a Project Manager intern at Distributed Bio, I have been helping to manage projects of different companies to provide them with a product that could potentially become therapeutic. In this role, a Project Manager has to be the facilitator between clients, the scientists, and upper management to ensure the project is done in time, under budget, and is of high quality. The tasks range from preparing all material presented to the clients, to ensuring that milestones are being completed while acknowledging the risks for delays and complications of doing these experiments.
