Abstract
Thank you for the publication of the article “The Doctor of Nursing Practice: A national workforce perspective.” As advanced practice nurses and university faculty, we share the concerns outlined by the authors regarding the agenda to require the DNP for entry-level advanced practice nursing. We both strongly believe that our master’s-level APRN education more than adequately facilitated our ability to provide quality health care services to diverse populations in the communities in which we practice.
