Abstract
Harmon Smith, of Kent, Connecticut, worked for large companies for thirty-five years before taking early retirement to write. His first book, My Friend, My Friend, about Thoreau's relationship with Emerson, is in its third printing. He is currently working on a biography of the American dancer Carola Goya. "Tunnel of Love" is his first published story.
